Users of StratITsphere’s cloud computing service will soon be able to assure the quality of their communications in real time, thanks to a partnership announced today with NetSocket.

Plano-based NetSocket’s Service Visibility Solution Suite assures a positive user experience for cloud-based communications, such as voice over IP, video conferencing, or Unified Communications in the Cloud as a Service (UCaaS), at all transmission levels in real time. The result is that errors can be detected and corrected before they cause critical communications problems.

"After considerable research, it became clear to us that NetSocket’s real-time software assurance solution is unique in the market, and can play a critical role in assuring the quality of collaboration and communication services offered through our cloud computing services," said Stephen Webster, president and Chief Executive Officer of Houston-based StratITsphere. "Under this partnership, we plan to provide our customers with per-session visibility into the service quality of their cloud communications, something which no other cloud computing service currently offers…

"This collaboration will deliver economic and strategic advantages to clients on top of the operational and time-to-market savings they already enjoy from using data center virtualization and cloud storage-as-a-service options," Webster added.

Cloud-based collaboration and communications services can be disrupted by issues that are invisible to the end user. By using NetSocket’s patented Service Visibility Solutions Suite software, all session, content and IP topology issues can be viewed in real time. This allows communications problems to be fixed either before a disruption occurs, or more quickly after an issue arises. This assures the quality and reliability of mission-critical services, such as trader voice communications at large financial institutions, video conferencing, global collaboration services, and UCaaS offerings.

"The ability to deliver real-time visibility into IP traffic in managed and hybrid cloud environments at the per-session level is key to increasing end-user satisfaction," said John White, NetSocket president and CEO. "By incorporating our product as an essential component of StratITsphere’s cloud computing service, StratITsphere can assure consistent high-quality services by enabling network managers to anticipate, isolate, and remediate IP service issues before they impact the end user."

StratITsphere plans to make the monitoring service available globally late in the second quarter of 2012. For more information, contact sales@stratitsphere.com or sales@netsocket.com.
