Innovative Management Solutions (IMS) and VAZATA (formerly Horizon Data Center Solutions) are elevating their partnership to provide best-in-class application hosting to Oracle end users.

"This strategic partnership will provide our customers access to the best available Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), in VAZATA’s purpose built cloud computing environment," says Jeff Collins, CEO of IMS…

VAZATA’s vStructure(TM) IaaS is designed specifically to provide flexibility, robust computing, virtualization, reliable backups and disaster recovery for private and public sector organizations.

"This gives our customers a high level of security and redundancy while also allowing them the ability to rapidly scale computing and storage capacity," said Mr. Collins.

As an Oracle Platinum Partner, specializing in Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), IMS has an outstanding reputation and a proven track record assisting their customers to implement, support and host Oracle’s full suite of Primavera products.

Both IMS and VAZATA have General Services Administration’s (GSA) schedules in place and have worked together for several years to successfully provide hosting services for a wide array of business applications that complement their service offerings. VAZATA has recently completed SSAE 16 Type II audits for its three Tier 3 data centers — two in Dallas and one in Manassas, Virginia — and became part of the GSA Cloud First initiative that will provide cloud services to the Federal Government. In addition, VAZATA was officially the first (out of eventually 12) to receive their official Authority to Operate (ATO) to provide such services. In order to receive that ATO, VAZATA’s vStructure(TM) IaaS was put through an eight month Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process that scrutinized the system on more than 750 different control points to ensure performance against the government security standards for both business continuity and disaster recovery.

"Our world-class data centers and optimized cloud environment, combined with IMS’ Oracle Primavera process, functional and technical expertise, make this a unique and ideal partnership for Oracle end users, giving them the best of both worlds, in one vendor," said Lance Black, CEO of Dallas-based VAZATA.
