Flux Releases Unprecedented Free File Transfer Workflow Service for Cloud Computing
March 27, 2012
Flux, a leading cross-platform workload automation and managed file transfer solution, today released a brand new service called Floify to automate and orchestrate workflows and file transfers securely in the cloud. The kicker? It is free. There are no contracts, subscriptions, or fees.
Floify is a hybrid, cloud-based workflow service for business. For example, businesses can use Floify to download daily sales data and then feed the data files to their report server. Floify does all of this in the cloud, with only a minimal application installed on a user’s computer. Users can manage and monitor all their workflows at Floify.com. In fact, Floify can be managed from anywhere with a web browser…
"There’s no code, scripting, or APIs to learn. Deployment is fast with users up and running in minutes. It really can add efficiency to operations no matter the size of the business or IT level," stated Dave Sims, CEO and Flux Founder.
"Everything is centralized at Floify.com and the service is merely the orchestrator or broker of the workflows. With Floify, less time and money can be spent manually transferring business critical information – all without a big ramp up in cost, equipment, or developer time," Sims continued.
The service leverages the cloud and an organization’s own software and server to ease the transfer of cloud-based and on-premise data. Floify.com never sees any downloaded files. All communications are encrypted using the same SSL security that web browsers use. Currently, Floify offers a single workflow with plans to add more.
