Today Evolve IP announced that five industry veterans have joined the company to support its rapid growth in the areas of cloud computing services and virtual call centers. Joe Corvaia, Rich Fox, Bill Maun, Ritzcel Exconde, and Greg Drake bring decades of customer-focused technology experience to Evolve IP. They will work to further expand Evolve IP’s award-winning virtual call center and cloud solutions, help customers capitalize on these services, and meet growing demand.

Joe Corvaia joins Evolve IP as Vice President, Cloud Services, and will use more than 16 years of experience with infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS), hosted virtual desktop (HVD), and communications as a service (CaaS) to keep Evolve IP on top of the competitive cloud landscape and draw in high-end business opportunities. Joe will play an active role in the development, marketing, and sales of Evolve IP’s cloud computing services, focusing on The Evolved Office: Desktop and vServer solutions. Joe previously served as Vice President, Cloud Computing Sales and Solution Engineering at Broadview Networks, where he led technical sales and support company-wide, and drove growth of cloud computing and cloud VoIP solutions…

Rich Fox will serve as Enterprise Technology Advisor for Call Center Services, using his considerable experience in infrastructure, application development, telecommunications, and contact center operations to support the company’s fast-growing virtual call center platform, The Evolved Call Center. Formerly a Senior Director at Acumen Solutions, Rich consulted with Fortune 500 companies to upgrade data centers, IP telephony, and other technology infrastructure. Prior to that, as Vice President, Information Technology at PHH Mortgage, Rich led teams managing contact centers and implemented strategic plans that saved hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Bill Maun will step into the role of Solutions Engineer, Virtualization and will assist Evolve IP’s sales channels in selling and supporting the company’s cloud computing products. Bill will also be responsible for product development initiatives and field engineering. He came to Evolve IP from ePlus Technologies, where he worked as a Senior Systems Engineer in the Managed Services Center. Bill designed, implemented, and tested managed service solutions for high-impact infrastructure projects. Prior to that, Bill was the Network Manager at SMART/LECG and led network infrastructure upgrades, managed telecommunication vendor relationships, and developed network policy and procedure documentation.

Evolve IP has also added two other key players: Ritzcel Exconde, Product Specialist, Call Center; and Greg Drake, Systems Engineer, Virtualization. Ritzcel joins Evolve IP after providing call center consulting, project management, and workforce management for large call centers at Farmers Insurance Group and Comcast. Greg brings expertise in network and service administration and hardware support from his role as a consultant for Comcast and IPsoft. He also served as an IT Architect working to design, implement, and administer software and infrastructure at CardioNet, Inc. Ritzcel and Greg will help further strengthen Evolve IP’s call center and virtualized desktop and server offerings.

“These are the latest in a series of strategic hires as we continue to meet strong demand for our cloud call center and virtualization products,” said Tim Allen, Chief Sales Officer for Evolve IP. “We believe that people make the difference in the delivery of technology solutions and adding people of this caliber to our organization in these key areas is going to give us the ability to continue to develop long-term relationships in the marketplace. Joe, Rich, Bill, Ritzcel, and Greg will play a key role in product development, solution design, implementation, and support to ensure that we are continuously providing the best cloud based technology solutions and service levels the industry has to offer.”
