Symform Wins Two Awards for Its Disruptive Cloud Storage Technology and Leading Corporate Culture
June 18, 2012Symform, a revolutionary cloud storage and backup service, today announced two award wins that acknowledge the company’s innovative product and work environment. Symform won "Best Cloud Storage Solution" in the 4th Annual Cloud Computing World Series held in London earlier this month, recognizing Symform’s innovative and disruptive global peer-to-peer cloud storage network. In addition, Seattle Business magazine selected Symform as one of Washington’s ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ in 2012.
These latest accolades come amid a year of record growth and achievement for Symform, including 100 percent quarter-over-quarter customer growth with tens of thousands of active users across 138 countries, and the company’s recent $11 million Series B funding round…
The Cloud Computing World Series award winners were selected by an independent panel of industry experts based on the following criteria:
— What’s new, different or unique in terms of the delivery of the
product
— The complexity of the product and how it is represented in terms of
ease-of-use for the end-user
— The product’s position as a global and local market innovator
— Unique implementation features
— Pricing and value for money
Award winners were recognized at the 4th Annual Cloud Computing World Forum on June 12 in London. Accepting the award for Symform was one of its strategic channel partners in London, EJC IT, which incorporates Symform’s cloud-based data backup solution as part of its data security and management services for small and medium businesses.
Seattle Business magazine’s ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ is an employee survey-based award program that recognizes businesses in Washington state that have set the standard for leadership, benefits, work environment, innovative training programs and employee satisfaction, and are positively impacting the state of Washington through their employees. Employees were surveyed by Gilmore Research Group to determine initial rankings, and then a panel of judges reviewed the results to select the winners in each category.
Symform ranked 14th overall in the small company category. On the awards list, Seattle Business magazine acknowledges Symform as "an amazing organization." Winning companies were recognized at an award banquet on June 14 at the Westin Seattle.
