nClouds (www.nclouds.com), a provider of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and DevOps consulting and implementation services, announced today that it has signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS. The intent of the agreement is to help startups and growth-stage companies leverage AWS for strategic advantage.

“nClouds has a proven track record of providing consultation and implementation services to growth-stage companies,” said Darci Kleindl, Director of North American Partners, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “By working with nClouds, we can help customers leverage automation to accelerate product delivery and improve productivity, optimize cloud costs while building scalable infrastructure, and address their unique security and compliance requirements.”

“Working with rapid-growth companies to build their cloud infrastructure that supports business growth is what we do best,” said JT Giri, CEO and Co-founder of nClouds. “For these organizations, cloud is typically the most important component of their business infrastructure and leveraging the power of AWS can generate significant benefits for them.”

“Our first engagement with nClouds was a 15-day sprint to meet strict compliance and infrastructure requirements of our biggest client, and demonstrated nClouds’ commitment to our partnership,” said Ming Guo, Vice President of Engineering at CloudCar, whose platform integrates machine learning capabilities with a voice-first infotainment system to deliver a personalized driving experience. “Since then, they’ve helped us deliver new capabilities faster by building CI/CD pipelines with automated deployment, improved the security, compliance, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure as we engage with world-class automakers and OEMs, enabled our business expansion to new geographic regions, and improved our customer responsiveness with 24/7 SLA-level support. It’s a great partnership that keeps us focused on innovation.”

Under the SCA, nClouds and AWS will work closely on a variety of go-to-market initiatives, including AWS Well-Architected Reviews, where nClouds was a Launch Partner in the AWS Well-Architected Partner Program and has conducted more than 100 Reviews. The Reviews are part of an AWS-led initiative whereby AWS and certified AWS Partner Network (APN) Partners like nClouds help customers optimize their use of cloud infrastructure by aligning with best-practice guidelines of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Another initiative includes nOps, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud management platform for AWS, sold on AWS Marketplace, that helps customers monitor, analyze, and manage changes, cost, performance, security, and compliance of their AWS environment. nOps can be used independently and in an AWS Well-Architected Review to facilitate automated discovery of areas for remediation and, following a Review, to support continuous compliance with Well-Architected guidelines.

The SCA also includes a focus on DevOps, containers, and complex cloud migrations. nClouds achieved AWS Migration Competency status in 2018, recognizing nClouds’ technical proficiency and proven customer success helping clients migrate to AWS, from simple rehosting and replatforming to complex refactoring of applications. Further, nClouds and AWS are providing sales training, and solutions to broaden and deepen nClouds’ talent pool through technical training and certification of nClouds associates on AWS services, along with achieving additional AWS Competencies. nClouds is certified currently as an APN Premier Consulting Partner (the highest tier for APN Consulting Partners) and has achieved AWS DevOps Competency, AWS Migration Competency, AWS Managed Services Provider (MSP) Partner status, AWS Well-Architected Partner status, in addition to being an AWS Marketplace Seller.
