Microsoft Expert, Symon Perriman, Teams Up with Liquidware to Explore the Benefits of Virtualizing Desktops in the Public Cloud
February 20, 2019Liquidware, the leader in adaptive workspace management, today announced that it will host a webinar on Feb. 21, with internationally acclaimed Microsoft Expert, author, keynote presenter, and technology personality, Symon Perriman to explore the benefits of virtualizing desktops in a public cloud. The informative webinar comes just ahead of the much-anticipated public preview of Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD). In preparation, Liquidware and Microsoft delivered a joint solution brief which details how the solutions work together to deliver easy to on-board and manage Microsoft WVD workspaces on Azure.
“The public cloud is now seeing
real adoption of virtual desktops, and nobody has more or deeper expertise in
freeing desktops from on-prem and readying them for the cloud, than Liquidware.
They’ve been doing great things with physical, virtual and cloud desktops in
the areas of user environment management, application layering and monitoring,”
said Perriman. “This webinar will take a hard look at the benefits companies
stand to gain from virtualizing their desktops in a public cloud, why Microsoft
Azure and WVD promises to be a premiere platform, and how Liquidware’s suite of
adaptive workspace management solutions – Stratusphere UX, ProfileUnity and
FlexApp – play into that.”
Microsoft WVD, expected to be generally available this summer, has been verified to work hand-in-glove with Liquidware’s FlexApp Layering, ProfileUnity User Environment Management, and Stratusphere UX monitoring and diagnostics software. This thanks to a partnership between Liquidware and Microsoft that has seen close cooperation between product management at both companies. As a result, with Microsoft WVD and Liquidware, joint customers will experience an end-to-end solution that delivers high-fidelity Azure-hosted desktops at scale and at a cost-effective price.
“We’re committed to our partnership with Microsoft WVD and how we jointly solve a historically complex and expensive problem for businesses and organizations alike. Whether it is the ease of virtual desktop assessments, seamless user migrations to Windows 10 and Microsoft WVD, application layering, enterprise grade profile management, process optimization or quicker overall logons – when WVD is coupled with Liquidware solutions we empower customers to extract the full value of modern desktop technologies and transform their Windows workspaces to meet the needs of the cloud era,” said Jason E. Smith, VP of Product Marketing, Liquidware.
Perriman added, “With the combination of WVD and Liquidware, organizations can easily evaluate, migrate, and manage their desktops in Microsoft Azure using advanced security with policy management, application restrictions, granular privilege elevation and much more. We’ll delve into all this and more in the webinar.” Visit http://info.liquidwarelabs.com/022119-WVD-Management-Webinar_Registration-Page.html to sign up for the Feb, 21 webinar, entitled, where 25 free licenses of Liquidware’s solutions will be distributed to Microsoft Certified Professionals who attend.
