Logicalis Named Best Cloud Consultant at UP 2012 Cloud Computing Conference

Logicalis, an international IT solutions and managed services provider (http://www.us.logicalis.com), has been named “Best Cloud Consultant” at the Cloudcor UP 2012 Cloud Computing Conference held last month in San Francisco. The conference’s 2012 UP-START Cloud Awards have become the cloud community’s de-facto recognition for organizations that contribute to and cultivate the understanding, appreciation and advancement of cloud computing to the business and technology community.

Disruptive and next-generation cloud computing companies as well as innovative solution providers are invited to showcase their capabilities during the conference and to nominate themselves in any of 22 prestigious categories for consideration by a global community of cloud experts…

The winner of each category was decided upon by a combination of votes from Cloudcor’s significant LinkedIn cloud user group, comprised of 178,000+ cloud professionals, and votes from attendees during the UP’12 conference held in San Francisco last month. The first round of voting, with electronic ballots cast by the Cloudcor Linked In user group, narrowed each category down to five key finalists. The second and decisive round of voting was conducted during the UP-START conference, and the finalist in each category that garnered the most votes received recognition for that category.

"What makes the UP-START Cloud Awards so prestigious and coveted is the fact that recipients are chosen by an experienced group of their peers and clients. These are not titles bestowed upon companies based on opinion or the subjective decision of a committee. The votes cast for these companies are indeed indicative of the confidence the cloud community has in those that were named the best in their respective categories,” says Khazret Sapenov, the conference’s founder.
