Intelisys Finalizes Acquisition of Cloud Services Coalition

Intelisys Communications, Inc., the nation’s leading master agency distributor of business technology services, announced today the successful completion of the acquisition of Cloud Services Coalition (CSC), a wholly owned DBA of Terrapin Solutions.
The acquisition creates a new business unit, Intelisys Cloud Services and Complex Bids. It will continue to fulfill the charter of Cloud Services Coalition to centralize a superior portfolio of Cloud-related service providers and act as a trusted advisor to telecom agents and IT solution providers seeking to add cloud-based services to their current offerings…
With the close of the acquisition, the new Intelisys Cloud services business unit will focus on:
- Supporting Sales Partners through the entire Cloud sales process
- Business and application discovery
- Solution design
- Project management
- Turn-key onsite installation and training
Intelisys considers this transaction to be extremely timely given the rapidly increasing demand for Cloud-based services within the channel. In fact, CRN reports that Cloud Computing spending by the SMB market will reach $100B by 2014. The acquisition of CSC will not only help to increase and diversify Intelisys’ revenue, but will also provide education, industry expertise, sales assistance and speed-to-market to telecom sales agents and IT solution providers.

Under the terms of the definitive agreement announced on March 26, 2012, Terrapin Solutions will remain a separate entity, fully owned by Andrew Pryfogle, while the CSC team will be integrated into Intelisys with Pryfogle leading the unit as Intelisys Senior Vice President and General Manager.
