Dell Launches Dell Cloud for U.S. Government Customers

Looking to meet several government requirements, Dell (DELL) has released a new solution called Dell Cloud for U.S. Government to provide infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS). The solutions add 275 security controls to keep data and services secured and isolated. Here are the details.

Dell said Dell Cloud for U.S. Government was designed to meet the requirements of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) approval process and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 criteria. Government customers can move to FedRAMP, FISMA, and DIACAP cloud environments to meet NIST 800-53, and DoD 8500 standards. The suite of solutions offers both single and multi-tenant environments.
