Cloud Commerce company Savtira to hire 265 in Tampa

Savtira Corp., an e-commerce servicing firm currently based in Ybor City, announced this week that it plans to hire “at least” 265 new employees over the next 18 months.
The company seeks writers, designers, engineers and other professionals to help it expand its cloud computing offerings. The new positions will pay an average wage of $81,448, a statement from Savtira says…
Savtira’s main business offering gives retailers a method for managing the sale of both physical and electronic products through one system. A good example is DVD sales; a client with a vast library of physical movies could connect with Savtira to distribute those films electronically as well, using Savtira’s servers. In the past four months, Savtira has reached deals to distribute products for Petra Industries, Audiobooks.com and Newtek Supply Inc.
Savtira will receive a “package” of resources from Hillsborough County government, including grant money, to support its hiring effort, according to county commissioner Al Higginbotham.
