Intel Corporation is announcing their first dual-port PCI Express (PCIe) SSDs that utilize the Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) protocol.  The dual-port design of the new Intel SSD DC D3700 and D3600 series provides failover and redundancy, which are critical in safeguarding against data loss.  Systems utilizing the D3700 can realize up to a 6 X performance increase as compared to current dual-port SAS offerings.

 The stock market’s broad move this year from growth to value is nowhere more starkly evident in technology than in the downturn of cloud-computing stocks. As it has matured, cloud computing has lost some of its sizzle. Cloud companies sell software as a service, which customers tap into by visiting a Website, rather than installing the software on their own computing equipment.

Customers have the option of storing their encryption keys within a global and fully managed cloud key locker or in a secure appliance deployed within their own network.

Accellion’s content platform, kiteworks, now extends Microsoft Office Online to content stored on-premises and in the cloud without having to duplicate files. These capabilities are largely enabled by Accellion’s ongoing collaboration with Microsoft and reflect a common interest in making enterprise employees productive and more secure.

IncrediBuild, the leading development acceleration solution provider, announced today at Microsoft’s //build/ conference that it is now a Microsoft Azure Marketplace certified vendor. This new integration into the Microsoft Azure platform dramatically impacts development speed in the cloud.

dinCloud, a cloud services provider that helps organizations rapidly migrate to the cloud, today announced enhancements to its IT as a Service cloud orchestration platform, dinManage. Through this console, dinCloud customers can manage network and security parameters as needed across dinCloud’s suite of enterprise offerings including hosted workspaces and hosted virtual servers.
