SentinelOne, the autonomous endpoint protection company, has partnered with Avid Secure, an intelligent cloud security and compliance company, to provide security teams with complete visibility into their cloud workloads-including their hosts and networks. By combining SentinelOne with Avid Secure, security professionals are instantly able to determine whether or not resources are protected and prioritize their protection needs.

OpenNebula Systems, the company behind the OpenNebula Project, announced the immediate availability of the 3.2 stable version of vOneCloud, the virtual appliance for vSphere that transforms an existing VMware vCenter deployment into an automated, self-service private cloud. vOneCloud is commercially supported by OpenNebula Systems.

This new release of the appliance, tailored to ease the provisioning of resources from vSphere based infrastructures, comes packed with exciting new features. vOneCloud 3.2, which is based on OpenNebula 5.6 ‘Blue Flash, brings a revamped import mechanism, improved driver performance, VNC options for Wild VMs, network creation reworked, VM migration between clusters, marketplace integration, Docker integration, and scheduled periodic actions.

dinCloud, a digital transformation platform that offers hosted workspaces and cloud infrastructure, has announced that it is the first Citrix Service Provider (CSP) to join the Citrix Ready CSP Program.

The Citrix Ready Program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance Citrix workspace, networking and analytics solutions. dinCloud completed a rigorous testing and verification process to ensure compatibility with Citrix XenApp and Citrix XenDesktop, providing confidence to customers in joint the solutions.

Nutanix announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mainframe2, Inc. ("Frame"), a leader in cloud-based Windows desktop and application delivery. With Frame, Nutanix customers will be able to deliver desktops-as-a-service (DaaS) from multiple clouds, combining the consumer-grade simplicity and web-scale design of cloud applications with the functionality of traditional virtual desktop applications. The closing of the acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions.

The company offers online services to websites such as cloud-based storage and database services.
