CA Technologies, ECS Technology to Drive Cloud Adoption in China

Cloud services provider CA Technologies announced on Wednesday it has partnered with ECS Technology to promote cloud adoption in the commercial, retail, government, finance, insurance and manufacturing industries.
The companies will provide technical support for cloud adoption in China and help deliver Business Service Innovation by enabling new levels of speed, innovation, performance and cost/risk efficiencies.

CA Technologies develops extensive sales networks and has built relationships with more than 9,000 channel partners.
ECS focuses its business in China on the distribution of storage, database and management software and networking products.
"Cloud computing is an inevitable trend and ECS is extremely interested in its development in China," said Liu Ningdong, vice president of value-added business at ECS China. "Partnering with CA Technologies supports our strategic goals. We believe this partnership will allow us to provide customers with effective cloud management solutions."
Through the partnership, ECS will become CA Technologies value-added distributor in China, while ECS assists CA Technologies in the recruitment, management and support of second-tier distributors, as well as provide sales and technical support for products in the region.
Using its extensive distribution networks and market advantages, ECS will actively develop second-level sales channels in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu based on its successful track record and expertise.
In order to promote cloud adoption, CA Technologies and ECS will work together to build a cloud test and development environment.
Using leading cloud, virtualization and automation solutions such as the CA AppLogic turnkey cloud computing platform, the companies will create a program involving internal learning and customer visits to allow more customers to experience the business agility achieved by CA Technologies solutions.
