Three-quarter of IT managers see no relevance of cloud computing for their companies

Almost three quarters of IT managers in the UK believe that cloud computing is not relevant to their business, according to new research.

Research carried out by global risk consultancy Protiviti, contacting 100 IT managers across the UK, found that 74% felt that cloud computing was not relevant to their business and that 8% who were using it, were only doing so for one or two services…

Study says cloud computing can slash carbon emissions

Blue-chip companies could reduce their carbon emissions by 50% if they migrate their data storage operations to the cloud, a new study says.
