Happy Staff Make You More Money

By David
Do you know if your staff are happy in their work? Maybe you don’t give it much thought – as long as they turn up on time and do their job that’s all you are concerned about. On the other hand, perhaps you assume they’re happy enough because you’re not having any real problems with anyone. Either way, unless you are proactively ensuring that your team is happy and fulfilled, you are missing a valuable opportunity to maximize your business productivity. Not to mention that having happy staff makes for a much more pleasant working environment.

Why you should care about your staff

The people who work for you are the heart of your business. Without them, you would find it impossible to get anything done, and your company would collapse. Unhappy staff is more likely to make mistakes, not care so much about their work and not put all their efforts and energies into doing a good job. They may be more likely to have sick days because they lack the motivation to get to work no matter what. They’re also more likely to leave, and staff turnover is a costly affair. Even if they are performing adequately now, you’re almost certainly missing out on the added value they could bring to the business if they were more motivated and felt loyalty to you. All these factors will affect your efficiency and productivity, and will, therefore, have an impact on your profitability.

How e-commerce companies are benefiting from cloud based hosting services

By David

Cloud based hosting is increasingly becoming the favoured option for ecommerce companies and the reason for this isn’t far fetched considering all the benefits involved.

When it was originally introduced, cloud computing was regarded as a great innovation but not many businesses were willing to take a gamble on it just yet. But with the breakthroughs made in the field in recent years, cloud computing has gone from being just a great idea to being something e-commerce business owners actively pursue in order to gain an edge over competing businesses – as well as increase their operation efficiency.

One particularly attractive aspect of cloud computing is that any business – regardless its size – can benefit from using it. For instance, a globally recognised ecommerce brand can benefit from cloud based hosting just as much as an upcoming ecommerce website run by tech savvy personnel can.

Top tips for your small business website

By David
If you are a small business trying to carve out a name for yourself, or perhaps you are looking to get ahead of your competitors in an already saturated business market, then it is essential that your small business website stands out and offers your visitors a truly unique browsing experience. When it comes to small to medium-sized businesses, you need to make sure that you create a site that is easy to use and contains the basics that any visitor will need to find out more about your company. These include your contact details, a form for capturing new leads, and any information about your products and services as a starter.

Most businesses often try to overcomplicate the design of their company website, thinking that bigger means better. However, this does not need to be the case. Make sure that you design your site by putting your customer first. Remember that the average web browser wants to find information quickly and easily, and will leave any site if they cannot find what they are looking for within the first few seconds of visiting a website. You should also make sure that your company website is easy for you to update and add information to, as the site owner. This is vital so that you can continue to add new and relevant articles about your products, videos and even blog posts to keep your site fresh and interesting.
