Zerto, an industry leader for IT resilience, has been named the overall vendor champion for Enterprise Backup and Availability in the 2020 SoftwareReviews Emotional Footprint Report. As the only vendor to receive a perfect score across the most valued sentiments of reliability, integrity and productivity, Zerto was also recognized as being unique in its ability to delight customers by over-delivering on promises.

The SoftwareReviews 2020 Enterprise Backup and Availability Emotional Footprint Award winners were determined by software users and based off of questions which were crafted by seasoned IT industry analysts at Info-Tech Research Group . These reviews illustrate customer experience with software vendors, showing a complex relationship spanning procurement, implementation, service and support. Named ahead of well-known vendors, Zerto’s IT Resilience Platform led the championship group with an Emotional Footprint score of +96 (high-level user sentiment) and a value index of 86% (captures user satisfaction with their software given the costs they are paying). Zerto also earned first-place status for saving users time and negotiation transparency, with a perfect score of +100 for each.

In addition, Zerto scored an average of 9.92% higher than the average score for each category of performance across the user research – the highest in the survey¬¬ – and won first place for saving time, generosity, transparency and over-delivering in contract negotiation.

“We are delighted that this award recognizes the efforts and dedication of the Zerto team on so many important levels, as our number one priority is putting our customers first. It underlines the importance of building extremely strong customer relationships, which helps ensure their investment in our technology makes the right impact on every level, within an organization,” said Caroline Seymour, Vice President, Product Marketing.

The Emotional Footprint report illustrates customers’ experience with software vendors. The Net Emotional Footprint of a vendor is a result of aggregated emotional response ratings in the areas of service, negotiation, product impact, conflict resolution and strategy and innovation, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and its product from the software users’ point of view.

“Enterprise Backup and Availability products are essential to businesses wanting to ensure the protection of their data. Zerto’s performance in the SoftwareReviews’ Enterprise Backup and Availability survey for vendors in this space conveys customer confidence that they are providing the right mix of product, integrity and reliability. This is not an easy achievement and Zerto should be proud of their performance,” said Darryl Levesque, Principal Research Advisor at Info-Tech Research Group.
