Structure Research Recognizes IndependenceIT Automation of Microsoft RemoteApp Workflow and Delivery

IndependenceIT, an integrated software platform provider allowing IT departments, service providers and ISVs to easily deliver workspaces, applications and desktops as a service, today announced the availability of a new report by Structure Research on the company’s flagship software solution, Cloud Workspace Suite® (CWS). In the report, CWS was noted for reducing the inherent complexities of DaaS while streamlining application delivery with automated workflow and delivery for Microsoft RemoteApp.
According to the report, “Most service providers that are deploying DaaS are looking for simplicity in managing these complex and distributed environments, and that’s what IndependenceIT has developed. Now, with Microsoft RemoteApp support, IndependenceIT partners have yet another service to offer. In many cases, published applications are all that customers need for their end users, but the Azure RemoteApp tools to manage those environments across multiple clouds aren’t as robust as the ones that come with the CWS platform. Not only that, CWS is hypervisor- and cloud-agnostic, and those features have proven to be very important to DaaS customers and partners.”
“nGenx, Itopia and GCI Managed Cloud Solutions are among IndependenceIT’s roughly 150 service provider partners, which is up from 130 since we spoke last summer. Those partners include systems integrators, CSPs and MSPs. To date, most of IndependenceIT’s traction has been in North America, but the company has been gaining momentum in the UK and, most recently, in Australia. IndependenceIT is also making moves to grow in the wider European market,” added Structure Research analysts.
