SRA International, Inc., a leading provider of IT solutions and professional services to government organizations, today launched Stratify(TM), a secure cloud computing solution. The Stratify solution allows federal agencies to address cloud security and compliance gaps by delivering a practical cloud-centric architecture that enables mission success. SRA will be discussing the benefits of Stratify at the Amazon Web Services Public Sector Summit on Sept. 10 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C.
While agencies across the federal government recognize the operational efficiencies that can be achieved by migrating applications or workloads to the cloud, chief information officers and chief security officers remain concerned about the risks of losing control and visibility of their systems and data. Stratify(TM) provides the architecture, tools and processes to help agencies quickly implement cloud security and reporting mechanisms while maintaining cyber situational awareness of their data, leveraging existing enterprise IT investments and meeting compliance requirements…
"SRA’s Stratify(TM) architecture is the culmination of more than 15 years’ experience delivering cyber security solutions to the federal government," said President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Ballhaus. "We are excited to introduce this integrated, scalable virtual security architecture to ease our clients’ transition to the cloud while reducing risk, delivering cyber situational awareness and shortening the path to FISMA compliance."
Stratify(TM) is a secure cloud architecture that can be deployed rapidly to the federal enterprise. It employs FedRAMP-certified Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) services from major cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services. With Stratify(TM), government agencies can migrate to the cloud efficiently and effectively, while maintaining a full set of security and compliance controls, spanning all layers of the architecture.
"As a true mission partner to the federal government and approved FedRAMP 3PAO provider, SRA is pleased to offer Stratify(TM) as a solution to help our customers migrate to and operate more effectively and securely in the cloud," said Chief Growth Officer Max Hall. "Stratify(TM) was developed to address some of the key cloud computing challenges our clients may face and leverages our proven experience on cloud implementations."
Stratify(TM) can be applied as a blueprint architecture that maps architectural components to existing and planned future investments in security products. Alternatively, Stratify(TM) can serve as the complete architecture for a customer’s secure cloud deployments.
The offering covers the complete cloud lifecycle to ensure comprehensive alignment of cloud services with an agency’s business and mission objectives and includes a security reference architecture model, mapping of key security frameworks and controls, technology recommendations and compliance dashboards.
