OnX Enterprise Solutions Unveils New Cloud & Managed Services
December 7, 2011Looking to simplify and accelerate the design and deployment of cloud-based enterprise computing solutions, OnX Enterprise Solutions has launched a new family of cloud and managed services.
With certified staff and ITIL-compliant processes, OnX monitors and manages a client’s private or shared operations 24x7x365. Offering maintenance, upgrades, development integration and version control, the company offers clients four levels of service and support to accommodate differing in-house capabilities and requirements, ranging from network and server/storage break-fix and maintenance, remote monitoring and 24x7x365 support, to complete service level agreement (SLA)-compliant infrastructure management and full application support as part of its new OnExpert support service, the company stated in a press release…
“Companies of all sizes are struggling with big data and using numerous mobile, virtualized or on-demand applications, all with varying compliance, security, access, quality of service, and performance requirements," said Ed Vos, President and CEO of OnX Enterprise Solutions. "It’s obvious that one size does not fit all in cloud computing. We designed the OnX Federated Cloud and related services to help companies make sense of these complex computing environments.”
Allowing OnX to design, build and manage a cohesive and adaptable mix of private and shared cloud computing deployments, either on client premise or in an OnX hosted data center, the new services are offered as part of the OnX Federated Cloud framework. In delivering managed data center services, the suite of new OnX managed services and the OnX Federated Cloud build upon the company’s decade of experience.
Recently, the company announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Technology Solutions (News – Alert) Group (TSG) of US-based Agilysys, Inc., a leading enterprise business and IT solutions provider. OnX had previously announced its intention to acquire the TSG business unit on June 3, 2011. By merging TSG’s people and operations in the US, Canada, and Europe into OnX, the company is now among the world’s largest independent, multi-vendor enterprise data center solutions provider.
