Liquidware Celebrates 10 Years of Desktop Virtualization Innovation at its 10th VMworld ShowAugust 24, 2018
Liquidware, the leading third-party provider of platform-agnostic end-user computing solutions, will be showcasing its products at VMworld in Las Vegas from August 26 – 30, 2018. This will be the tenth time in its decade-long existence that Liquidware has participated as a sponsor in what it describes as "a strategic show" for its brand. Consequently, it is sending its heavy hitters to field questions from VMworld’s technically-biased delegates at booth #2126.
"During the show, we will preview upcoming versions of all solutions in our workspace environment management suite including additional cloud native integration features in ProfileUnity and FlexApp and enhanced user experience reporting in Stratusphere UX," said Jason E. Smith, VP Product Marketing at Liquidware.
Delegates with responsibility for Windows desktops will find that Liquidware’s solutions offer vast functionality to enable effective workspace environment management – from managing users, to visibility and monitoring, to OS migration, to application layering.
ProfileUnity is Liquidware’s user environment management (UEM) solution that eliminates the need for roaming profiles and basic profile tools, and delivers zero user downtime migrations to Windows 10, Server 2016, and all leading DaaS platforms. It allows enterprises to natively host user profiles on enterprise grade cloud storage like Amazon S3, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure Blob Storage. This innovative solution boasts an array of industry firsts, not least of which is its most recent accomplishment; the ability to save and restore profiles from cloud object-based storage with no SMB.
FlexApp application layering software, in turn, delivers applications instantly to any Windows desktop environment, regardless and independently of the prevailing OS version. The solution is optimized for VDI and DaaS desktops from Citrix and VMware, for Microsoft RDS/RDmi and Citrix XenApp environments, as well as Amazon WorkSpaces, and physical desktops.
Platform-agnostic Stratusphere UX delivers user-point-of-view visibility into desktop environments that support assessment, design, monitoring and diagnostics, and minimize unknowns and risks.
Liquidware will also have a limited supply of Johan van Amersfoort’s new book, "VDI Design Guide," to give away free to qualified attendees with active VDI projects. Amersfoort himself will be signing the books in the Liquidware booth (#2126) on Monday from 11:15 to 12:45.
The Dare2Compare initiative is an added incentive for delegates to ensure they visit booth 2126 and see if they can win $100 by putting their desktop environment to the test and choosing a challenge for Liquidware to solve. If the company can’t solve it, the delegate wins $100, if they do solve it, well the delegate wins either way.
In addition to its sponsorship, Liquidware is participating in two invitation-only events during VMworld. On Monday, August 27 it will host an event at Tender restaurant at the Luxor. Delegates who have a desktop project of 500-plus users, are invited to reach out to Liquidware at email@example.com to snag a first-come, first-served ticket.
The company will also be hosting, along with NVIDIA and Stratodesk, the third Inside Track event for EUC influencers and thought leaders. Though not open to the public, bloggers, industry analysts or thought leaders are invited to reach out to @InsideTrackEUC on Twitter about submitting their credentials for consideration.
