Kaloom Achieves Certification for Red Hat OpenStack Platform

Kaloom, an emerging leader in the automated data center networking software market, today announced its certification with Red Hat OpenStack Platform based on the Neutron Modular Layer 2 (ML2) plug-in. The OpenStack integration is now commercially available for customers.  

Kaloom’s Software Defined Fabricand Cloud Edge Fabricare now certified as integrated with Red Hat OpenStack Platform. The ML2 component within OpenStack Neutron manages and configures L2 services. Kaloom has made enhancements by adding new drivers to support the Kaloom Virtual Switch, Virtual Fabrics and L3 services. Data center operators and service providers can now integrate OpenStack with Kaloom’s Software Defined Fabric and Cloud Edge Fabric.
