Intacct Fall 2011 features the introduction of Intacct Services Resource Planning, a complete cloud-based ERP system for project and service-based businesses. Intacct Fall 2011 also includes a completely re-imagined, "consumerized" user interface, plus new support for tablet and mobile devices. The introduction of a new marketplace for partner applications, major enhancements to Intacct Project Accounting, Intacct Revenue Management and Intacct’s global business management capabilities, along with more than 225 additional new features round out Intacct Fall 2011.

New Intacct Services Resource Planning Intacct Services Resource Planning is a complete, cloud-based ERP system for project and service-based businesses. It is comprised of an integrated, best in class combination of salesforce.com for customer relationship management, Intacct for financial management and project accounting, and Clarizen for project management and planning. Intacct has also developed new, three-way synchronization between these three applications plus extensive workflow and automation for the key tasks that drive productivity for project and service-based organizations. Intacct Services Resource Planning is modern, cloud-native, and features real-time visibility across the project delivery lifecycle…

Intacct also today announced that it has signed an expanded marketing, development and distribution agreement with Clarizen. Under the new agreement, Intacct will serve as a master reseller for Clarizen’s award-winning cloud-based work execution and project management software, and as such, both Intacct and its network of resellers can immediately market and sell Intacct Services Resource planning including Clarizen worldwide. Intacct and Clarizen are further collaborating on enhancements to both firms’ applications to create even more value for project and service-based businesses. Intacct Services Resource Planning is available immediately and pricing starts at $1,500 per month.

"We have been helping project and service-based businesses operate more effectively and efficiently for more than 20 years, and we couldn’t be more excited about the introduction of Intacct Services Resource Planning," said Jered Cady, executive vice president of Synergy Business Solutions, an Intacct partner. "Intacct’s new and comprehensive cloud-based Services Resource Planning system has the deep functionality and extensive automation that our clients have been asking for."

New Consumerized User Interface Intacct Fall 2011 features a completely re-imagined user interface that was designed under the premise that modern financial management and accounting applications should be just as approachable, easy to use and able to be personalized as the best consumer web applications like Amazon, Netflix and Facebook.

Intacct Fall 2011 now leverages concepts prevalent in consumer web applications, such as clicking stars to indicate favorites, creating bookmarks for commonly used items, searching with instant "Google-like" capabilities and using drag and drop to manipulate information on the screen. The system now includes enhanced visual guides to walk users through common activities; modern menu trays that group related tasks; and a new report center that centralizes access to reporting and analytics, including the more than 150 pre-packaged reports that come with the system. The result is improved adoption, higher productivity and lower training costs for new Intacct users.

New Tablet and Mobile Support Along with the new user experience, Intacct Fall 2011 includes new support for Apple iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads, and Google Android devices like the Samsung Galaxy tablet and the Motorola Droid. Specifically enhanced for a compelling tablet and mobile experience using HTML5, Intacct’s new tablet and mobile user interface is gesture aware, and responds to actions like taps, swipes and pinches. Coupled with Intacct’s cloud delivery model, this means that Intacct’s clients and partners can now access their Intacct system at any time, from anywhere and with any device, and always enjoy a fantastic and productive user experience.

"In November, I was staying at a wonderful villa in northern Argentina in a small town called Purmamarca," said Craig Stack, CFO of ProKarma. "I sat down at the pool with my iPad, logged into Intacct, checked out how the business was doing, approved a few purchase orders, and within five minutes I was back to enjoying Argentina at its best. Intacct on the iPad is nothing short of revolutionary — it makes finance fun again."

New Online Marketplace Intacct Fall 2011 also includes a new online marketplace designed to showcase the more than 80 applications that enhance the Intacct system available from Intacct partners. Similar in concept to salesforce.com’s AppExchange and Apple’s App Store, the Intacct Marketplace allows Intacct’s prospects and clients to discover, learn about and evaluate integrated partner offerings. The Intacct Marketplace will be available via Intacct and partner websites in December, and will be embedded in Intacct’s applications in Q1 2012.

Even More New Features and Crowdsourcing Intacct Fall 2011 includes major enhancements to Intacct Project Accounting, Intacct Revenue Management and Intacct’s global business management capabilities, plus more than 225 additional new features. Intacct uses crowdsourcing to encourage customers and partners to create, refine and vote on ideas for the improvements that they would like to see made to the Intacct system. Intacct Fall 2011 includes 31 unique new features that were crowdsourced from Intacct’s customers and partners, representing more than 8,000 unique user votes.

"Intacct Fall 2011 is a game changer in the world of financial management and accounting applications," said Daniel Druker, senior vice president of Marketing and Business Development at Intacct. "With Intacct Services Resource Planning and our expanded Clarizen partnership, we’re bringing together the best CRM, project management and financial systems to enable project and service-based businesses to improve operations and profitability. Plus we’ve set a new bar for user adoption and productivity with our new user interface coupled with tablet and mobile capabilities."
