ECmanaged, the award-winning Cloud and IT management tool, has been shortlisted for yet another prestigious prize. The jury of the SVC Awards (Storage Virtualization and Cloud awards) has selected the Barcelona-based start-up as one of the best Software as a Service contributions to the Cloud market.  Nine companies will compete in a public voting to bring the Best Cloud SaaS award home. The pioneering multi-Cloud and IT management tool, ECmanaged, will defend its nomination in an online voting open to the general public from October 11th to November 8th, 2013.

“We are grateful for this nomination” says Juan Carlos Moreno, founder and CTO at ECmanaged. “Winning this prize would be a recognition for all the hard work my development team has put into making ECmanaged the most complete and innovative solution on the market.”

ECmanaged is the ground-breaking SaaS Cloud Management Platform providing full lifecycle IT management for any Cloud computing provider and on-premise physical infrastructure.  Even though the product was only released last June, it has already been nominated for various prizes and start-up events. The tool offers automated management tasks which, combined with a complete monitoring system (capacity, performance and user experience), allow to solve up to 80% of application incidents in less than 5 minutes or to define very accurate auto-scaling processes.  As a result the efficiency and availability of IT and Cloud systems and applications are increased.

In addition, ECmanaged enables cross-provider mobility by defining a high-level model of the entire platform. This novel approach does not only include the application templates but also the networking information, installation scripts and code sources. It makes Cloud and IT platforms virtually vendor-agnostic.

The SVC award ceremony will take place November 21st in London.
