A successful shift to cloud computing involves, among other considerations, identifying the current business and IT issues that need to be addressed, understanding the risks and making the right infrastructure decisions for the business. Moving to the cloud can reduce costs, while meeting the need for the improved computing resources required to drive business, says Jon Tullett, senior editor: news analysis at ITWeb.
