Cloud Standards Customer Council Publishes Cloud Customer Architecture for Hybrid Integration
March 7, 2017The Cloud Standards Customer Council (CSCC) has published a new reference architecture to assist enterprise IT professionals with the integration requirements of hybrid cloud computing. IT environments are now fundamentally hybrid in nature – devices, systems, and people are spread across the globe, and at the same time virtualized. Achieving integration across this ever-changing environment, and doing so at the pace of modern digital initiatives, is a significant challenge. This deliverable explains the core reference architecture and concepts for hybrid integration in the enterprise. It is available for download at: http://www.cloud-council.org/deliverables/cloud-customer-architecture-for-hybrid-integration.htm.
Hybrid integration can be looked at from many perspectives including application, data, and infrastructure. This document positions hybrid integration from an application perspective, and presents the reference architecture as a seamless integration from cloud to on-premises for events, APIs, and data.
The CSCC authors will host a complimentary webinar on March 9, 2017 from 11:00am – 12:00pm ET to introduce the whitepaper. Attendees will learn best practices from leading-edge enterprises that are starting to leverage a hybrid integration platform to take advantage of best-of-breed, cloud-based and on-premises integration approaches. Event details are posted on the CSCC’s website at www.cloud-council.org/events.
