Domo, a new software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that is redefining the business intelligence (BI) market, is making waves with executives across all industries for its mobile app. Available via the iTunes Store, Domo’s mobile app works the way its customers do.

Josh James, Domo founder and CEO, says, "Users have been conditioned to believe that mobile applications are less functional than desktop apps. At Domo, we believe that mobile should outperform what the desktop experience delivers. From the beginning, we’ve focused on completely resetting expectations. In addition to making our mobile app on par with our desktop application, we’re adding new capabilities that deliver a surprisingly more insightful, intuitive and user-friendly experience."…

Domo’s "mobile-first" focus couldn’t be more timely. According to research firm IDC, 1.3 billion employees will routinely work outside a traditional office environment by 2015. In addition, the growth in mobile device usage is projected to significantly outpace the growth of personal computers, according to reports from leading IT research firms.

"I love that I can monitor our business updates in real time on my mobile device," says Brandon Boudreau, COO of Metro-West Appraisal, the largest independent appraisal firm in the nation. "Since we’re a very fast-paced company, I need to be able to see what’s going on and react to things immediately. That’s the advantage Domo gives me."

With Domo, the power to stay abreast of ever-changing business conditions and make more informed decisions is always in grasp.

"Domo’s mobile app allows us to make better decisions anytime, anywhere," says Andrew Mok, director of business intelligence at RelayRides, the nation’s largest peer-to-peer car-sharing service. "Data is a huge part of our operating culture and we love how Domo makes it easy to feed our data addiction by delivering the data we want directly to our iPhones and iPads."

Adds Duane Heady, executive vice president and COO of insurance provider Imperial Management Corporation, "The Domo mobile app is perfect for drilling down to exactly what we need to focus on at the exact right time. We no longer have to spend time importing info — it’s all there when we need it."

Domo will continue to push the envelope when it comes to mobile. "We’re excited to break some new ground in the months ahead," says James.
