Louis Columbus, another Forbes Technology contributor, highlighted research from a computing study in another Forbes article that predicts that this type of business computing will grow by 36 percent compound annual growth rate over the course of the next couple of years, reaching a market size of $19.5 billion by 2016. The study illustrates the role of this technology and its future in the marketplace for midsize businesses, and it is based on research that took place within the first six months of 2013, using live interviews with IT managers and primary decision makers in midsize and large businesses in Europe and North America.
