SoftNAS®, Inc. today announced three new editions of its flagship Cloud Data Platform product line: SoftNAS Cloud® Essentials, SoftNAS Cloud® Enterprise and SoftNAS Cloud® Platinum. The products make migrating to the cloud ultra fast, flexible and cost effective and are tailored to meet specific solution use cases that address real-world problems including:

Uniserver has deployed Cisco Virtual Topology System (VTS), a standards-based, open software-overlay management and provisioning system that will bring sophisticated network provisioning for virtual and physical infrastructures. Tech Data Corporation today announced that it has added Veeam Cloud Connect for the Enterprise deployed on Microsoft Azure to the StreamOne Cloud Marketplace, the distributor’s platform for end-to-end provisioning and billing of software and cloud services. The offering is available in the U.S. and Europe.

Veeam Cloud Connect for the Enterprise makes it easy for Veeam customers to extend their backup infrastructure to different clouds, and for service providers to offer both Backup-as-a-Service or complete availability solutions. Veeam software allows customers to maintain full control of their data through easily scheduled and managed backups to Azure that apply appropriate archiving and retention policies to meet their specified requirements. Its end-to-end encryption ensures that data is always secure, at source and in transit.

Tripwire, Inc. announced that Tripwire Cloud Management Assessor, an extension of its flagship Tripwire Enterprise solution, now supports Microsoft Azure. Announced earlier this year, with initial focus on supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, Cloud Management Assessor helps organizations strengthen their cybersecurity and maintain compliance, and it now allows users to scan and assess the configuration states of their Azure environments.

"New security considerations come with the continued adoption of cloud technologies, so we’re working to provide more solutions that help organizations maintain secure and compliant states across their evolving environments," said Dave Meltzer, chief technology officer of Tripwire. Scale Computing, a market leader in hyperconverged solutions, announced that it is working with Google to develop a hybrid cloud solution that makes it easy for organizations, including channel partners and MSPS, to move application workloads freely in the cloud or on-premises.

The new offering, called HC3 Cloud Unity allows an organization’s apps to use resources in the cloud and on-prem at the same time, and enables apps solely created for on-prem to now run on Google Cloud Platform.

HC3 Cloud Unity combines the private cloud capabilities of Scale’s HC3 hyperconverged platform, SCRIBE software-defined-storage, and new SD-WAN capabilities with Google Compute Engine, the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering for Google Cloud Platform.
