Most professionals can hardly turn a corner these days without hearing about the Cloud. From Gmail to Dropbox we use cloud services in our everyday lives, allowing us to access content on-the-go from just about anywhere at any time. The big benefits of cloud-based applications and software include no hardware or licensing costs, no software installs or upgrades to deal with plus predictable monthly fees.
Sounds like a good deal, so why isn’t everyone jumping on-board? Most companies are working in some sort of hybrid-state with a combination of on-premises software and cloud software; that’s because there are pros and cons to both solutions.
