BitTitan, the leader in cloud services enablement, today introduces Migration-as-a-Service to help IT service providers create new migration revenue streams for Microsoft Office 365. Tens of thousands of Microsoft partners are looking to expand their Office 365 services but are restrained by a lack of time, resources and expertise. BitTitan’s latest "as-a-Service" category enables partners to create new offerings and scale their portfolios without investment in costly engineers, project managers or new tools.

"Migration-as-a-Service is like subcontracting, but without the complexity, lack of accountability and uncertainty around pricing," said Jethro Seghers, lead program manager at BitTitan. "Our approach is fully white-labeled using the partner’s brand, offers 100 percent predictable pricing and includes advanced troubleshooting by the experts who developed the software in the event of any issues."

The first workload available through the Migration-as-a-Service program is for legacy email archives including Veritas Enterprise Vault and EMC SourceOne.

"Legacy archives were a natural first step for us with this concept, because they’re extremely complicated, prone to data corruption and require specialized tools with which most Office 365 service providers aren’t familiar," continued Seghers. "We’re giving partners access to revenue that was out of reach for them before."

Available exclusively through the BitTitan MSPComplete platform, Archive Migration Service includes:

  • Built-in net profit for partners ranging from 30 to 50 percent
  • Access to archive migration sales experts to help partners close deals
  • Consulting on best practices for configuration, migration and user experience
  • Complete white-glove implementation by expert engineers
  • Rapid migration of mailbox archives and journal archives
  • Seamless end-user experience with full "stub" management and rehydration
  • Reduced risk with detailed chain of custody and exception reporting

"BitTitan’s Archive Migration-as-a-Service was exactly what we needed to make our customer’s Enterprise Vault to Office 365 migration a success," said Ricardo Uribe, CTO of CGNet. "They took care of everything, finished the migration faster than we thought possible and enabled us to deliver an Office 365 implementation with a high level of customer satisfaction."
