Atmosera, a premier Tier-I Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) and iTrellis, a custom software and systems integration consultancy based in Seattle, today announced a strategic partnership to orchestrate the transition of business IT applications to preferred cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure. Atmosera and iTrellis aligned to integrate computing environments and construct workflows that accelerate digital business transformation and agility for IT environments. The combined services also tackle the need for many companies to re-platform or re-factor their applications to take full advantage of advanced cloud features.

According to US analyst house Pacific Crest, the amount spent on cloud is set to triple over the next five years to $239 billion, and Microsoft’s Cloud Platform continues to pick up a large portion of the market. The research firm estimates that in the second half of this year, Microsoft’s Commercial Cloud segment will become the largest public cloud platform for the first time in 10 years, firmly marking its cloud leadership position.

Many companies cannot take full advantage of cloud capabilities unless they modernize their applications. Older style applications lack the architecture flexibility to deploy in modern clouds such as Azure and leverage the ability to scale on-demand, improve the speed of updates and reduce consumption costs. The strategic partnership between Atmosera and iTrellis incorporates the architecting, migration, deployment, and on-going operations of enterprise-grade, fully managed private, public (Microsoft Azure), and hybrid clouds. Solutions are tailored to each customer’s specific requirements with engineering and operational experience that addresses the need for enterprise-class security, high availability, and business productivity. Customers benefit from a combined set of services which effectively identify how best to deploy their applications in a modern cloud environment including re-platforming and re-factoring their existing applications.

As a premier Tier-1 Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), Atmosera brings knowledge and experience derived from over 200 private, multi-tenant, hybrid, and public cloud environments which have been engineered, deployed and managed to realize each customer’s individual business goals. In combination with iTrellis, customers receive access to a wide-range of software, systems, and project management services along with experienced cloud architecting and optimization capabilities.
