Armorblox, a cybersecurity innovator that helps organizations communicate more securely over email, announced the availability of Armorblox Email Protection in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Microsoft Azure. Armorblox customers now can take advantage of the scalability, high availability, and security of Azure, with streamlined deployment and management.

Armorblox is an API-based cybersecurity platform that helps organizations communicate more securely over email and other cloud office applications in Microsoft 365. Powered by natural language understanding (NLU), Armorblox analyzes thousands of signals to understand the context of communications and protect organizations of all sizes against business email compromise (BEC), advanced phishing, socially engineered email attacks, and loss of sensitive data.

With the move to Microsoft Office 365, organizations have been able to streamline their email security stack by moving away from legacy secure email gateways that disabled or duplicated native Microsoft controls. Armorblox provides an effective, non-overlapping augmentation to native Microsoft email security controls, broadens threat protection coverage, and raises the bar for cybercriminals launching targeted email attacks. Armorblox integrates with SIEM and SOAR tools over RESTful APIs to route alerts and insights to preferred downstream solutions for aggregation and centralized management by security teams.

The Armorblox platform provides fast ROI by integrating into an organization’s environment using APIs without requiring any configuration or setup. Armorblox analyzes six months of a customer’s email archives to form historical communication baselines and provides a 30-day lookback at targeted email attacks that evaded gateways and native controls. Customers can purchase Armorblox directly via Microsoft co-sell and through the Azure Marketplace. All purchases count towards enterprise Azure commitments.

Dhananjay Sampath, co-founder and CEO of Armorblox, said, “We’re delighted to strengthen our ongoing relationship with Microsoft and make the Armorblox solution available on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. Email is still the true system of record for businesses, making it fertile ground for both deliberate breach attempts and accidental data loss. Organizations of all sizes, from Fortune 500 firms to mid-sized enterprises, can now purchase, deploy, and use Armorblox directly from Microsoft to secure their communications from malicious actors and human error.”

“Armorblox’s team has reimagined email security and now Microsoft 365 customers can realize the value of using Armorblox as a security augment,” said Steve Herrod, Managing Director, General Catalyst. “Email attacks continue to persist and evolve, but the Armorblox collaboration with Microsoft will enable businesses of all sizes to avail next-generation email security that’s effective, easy to use, and gets better with time.”

“Through Microsoft Azure Marketplace, customers around the world can easily find, buy, and deploy partner solutions they can trust, all certified and optimized to run on Azure,” said Jake Zborowski, General Manager, Microsoft Azure Platform Microsoft Corp. “We’re happy to welcome the Armorblox Email Protection solution to the growing Azure Marketplace ecosystem.”

The Azure Marketplace is an online market for buying and selling cloud solutions certified to run on Azure. The Azure Marketplace helps connect companies seeking innovative, cloud-based solutions with partners who have developed solutions that are ready to use.
