Aptuss Launches WarpDrive: A Cloud Based Storage Solution for NetSuite Users

Aptuss, a UK NetSuite partner and solution provider, has launched WarpDrive for NetSuite a document storage application tool. This innovative product integrates with NetSuite’s cloud data storage, giving NetSuite users a secure and readily available data storage facility for business documents that can be accessed offline. It can be organized to provide storage on an individual basis as well as for departmental and corporate documentation. Key features include:
• Real Time Communication with NetSuite: The application is installed on the user’s PC and communicates in real time with NetSuite ERP. Any changes in the user’s folder are immediately synchronized with the stored folder.
• Secure Encryption: All data is securely encrypted using NetSuite’s 128-bit encryption standards, and access is controlled by the NetSuite’s enterprise grade password policy.
• Drag and Drop File Transfer: Files can be added by simply dragging them to the WarpDrive folder on the desktop and are automatically synchronised.
• Access from Anywhere: Files can be accessed on the users PC even when offline. This is a significant advantage to executives who are on the road a lot and for other business travellers.
WarpDrive was created to fill the gap that existed between NetSuite’s class leading cloud-based suites and storage of company documentation. NetSuite users have always had the ability to attach documents to accounts and other business documents, but once the users where offline these documents where no longer accessible The WarpDrive addresses this problem by providing a solution akin the DropBox.

Benefits of WarpDrive
WarpDrive allows users to sync files maintained in NetSuite’s cloud-based online storage. Typical use cases would be receiving a contract from a customer or a supplier directly into your email client, historically you would have needed to save that locally, log into NetSuite and then store that document within the relevant folder in NetSuite. With the warp drive that is no longer necessary simply save the file in a WarpDrive folder on your PC and the file syncs real time to NetSuite.
The WarpDrive maintains customers company policies by allowing users to only gain access to files which their NetSuite security roles have granted access to.
Who Will Use Warpdrive?
An Aptuss spokesperson commented, "WarpDrive enhances corporate security by providing document storage within the NetSuite structure and removes the need for third-party online storage."
Access is controlled through current NetSuite security protocols and overall corporate security is enhanced. Aptuss expects that NetSuite users will use this facility to set up online corporate document storage to give companies ready access to corporate, departmental and individual documents. Access to documents is controlled using conventional security protocols that ensure security on an individual user basis while permitting document sharing as required.
