ANX has now become a Validated Cloud Solution provider for OpSource customers.
The association enables OpSource clients to deploy cloud-based solutions with ANX Secure Cloud Access, a managed service for user-to-cloud connections. Leveraging the secure solutions, OpSource clients can secure endpoints, eliminate access security concerns associated with cloud computing, company officials said…
“Our partnership with OpSource enables customers who already benefit from an exceptional cloud infrastructure to also rapidly deploy and access cloud resources with the highest level of endpoint security,” said Paul Arceneaux, chief marketing officer, ANX. “The combined solution will give even the most cautious IT managers confidence as they move forward to reap the many benefits of cloud computing.”
The partnership is significant as the cloud computing services market is estimated to grow to approximately $150 billion within a few years.
However, security concerns are acting as a barrier to cloud computing adoption, according to a Harris Interactive (News
– Alert) survey. Seventy-six percent of IT managers believe that information is more secure when stored on-premises rather than with a vendor. Eighty-one percent are concerned about maintaining regulatory compliance if they were to store sensitive data in the cloud.
“In combination with ANX, OpSource can offer its clients an integrated offering that provides IT departments with the level of security and control needed to confidently place mission-critical applications in the cloud,” said Jon Beck, senior vice president of Channels and Alliances, at OpSource. “Together we help customers reduce operational expense and deployment issues by integrating and testing the combined solution.”
Recently, OpSource announced that it selected NTT America for IP transit. Network speed was one of the driving factors in OpSource’s choice to partner with NTT (News – Alert) America.
