Agiliance(R), Inc., the leading independent provider of Security and Operational Risk Management solutions for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs, today announced that the Agiliance Continuous Compliance Service(TM) (CCS) for Cloud Risk Management (CRM) has been named the Best Cloud Security Solution of the Year in the prestigious 2011 Computing Security Awards…

After a panel of industry experts determined the finalists for the 2011 Computing Security Awards in September 2011, the winner in each category was decided via popular vote on the 2011 Computing Security Awards website. The awards were presented last night during ceremonies at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London.

"We are thrilled to accept the 2011 Computing Security Awards for Best Cloud Security Solution of the Year," said Torsten George, vice president of worldwide marketing at Agiliance. "This award confirms Agiliance’s efforts in working hand-in-hand with industry associations, Global 2000 companies, and government agencies to assist them in measuring cloud risk readiness as well as continuously assessing cloud operations."

The award illustrates the ground-breaking character of Agiliance CCS for Cloud Risk Management, a cloud-based solution that ensures an organization’s cloud provider meets the current standard for security, is compliant with applicable regulations, and can pass a regulatory audit. Agiliance CCS for Cloud Risk Management provides methodologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices to properly assess and manage an organization’s cloud initiatives across all three stages of the cloud adoption life cycle, starting with cloud risk readiness assessment, cloud risk operations monitoring, and finally leading to cloud audits (an area that still requires further standardization). Agiliance CCS for CRM incorporates the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) GRC Stack, mapped within Agiliance’s Common Control Framework (CCF) to NIST, COBIT, ISO, PCI, HIPAA, FISMA, SOX, SANS, BITS, and SAS 70 II / SSAE 16 reporting, guaranteeing standardization of cloud security processes.

The Computing Security Awards were set up to recognize the solutions and companies that have most impressed those charged with keeping their organizations secure.
