Adlink and Gemalto partner on cloud-enabled M2M

Adlink, a provider of embedded computing solutions for industrial applications announced this week that it will deploy an M2M software as a service application developed by Gemalto which collects and analyses remote sensor data in the cloud. The platform connects remote monitoring devices to the cloud so Adlink customers can continuously monitor data being collected from them – CPU speed, system restart logs, total operation hours, and the like.

The data is sent to a web-based dashboard where performance levels can be assessed and help inform technical maintenance regimes as well as business process automation. “Adlink’s device-to-cloud strategy is a new model for all critical industrial businesses, demonstrating the impact and benefits of M2M on both instant data collection and management,” said Laetitia Jay, vice president of M2M solutions and services at Gemalto…
