DataVisor, a leading fraud detection company, announced today that it has integrated its artificial intelligence platform with Microsoft Azure AI, enabling users to have reliable, real-time fraud detection across billions of cloud accounts.

The integration with Azure AI builds on DataVisor’s 2017 participation in Microsoft’s Startup Accelerator Program. In the interim, DataVisor has been working to port the application into Azure and expand availability for enterprise users globally and has achieved Microsoft Co-Sell status.

For organizations already using Azure services, the integration allows users to conveniently and quickly leverage DataVisor’s Unsupervised Machine Learning (UML) approach. The technology will be available as an Azure AI Solution, targeting fraud detection as a service scalable to billions of accounts.

DataVisor’s UML solution augments the Azure AI tool set, a portfolio of AI productivity tools that enables users to build the next generation of smart applications in the cloud, on-premise, and on the edge. The Azure AI portfolio offers pre-built APIs and enterprise-grade AI infrastructure to run AI workloads anywhere, at scale.

By adding DataVisor Enterprise on Azure AI, Microsoft users will now have access to one of the leading platforms for early detection of fraud in the cloud-this is extremely valuable as fraud detection is one of the primary use cases for artificial intelligence.

“We’re extremely pleased to run our machine learning capabilities on Microsoft Azure AI,” said DataVisor CEO and co-founder Yinglian Xie. “Our Unsupervised Machine Learning solution protects more than 4 billion user accounts globally, correlates thousands of different attributes, and leverages our global intelligence network to detect fraud groups. Our customers expect cutting-edge AI-driven tools that can perform at large data scale, and that’s what cloud solutions like Azure provide us.”

Janet Lewis, VP Worldwide Financial Services at Microsoft Corp. said, “DataVisor’s expertise in fraud detection, combined with the intelligence of Microsoft Azure, allow our customers to more easily and accurately access threats and quickly respond.”
