Bitcasa Wins Best Cloud Infrastructure at 2014-15 Cloud Awards

A recent study showed that developers have been slow to adopt cloud storage as a result of the complexity and effort required to build their own file systems and services on public clouds. The only alternative to date has been 3rd party cloud storage APIs, which require giving up ownership of the UX, users, and their data. Bitcasa CloudFS effectively solves this dilemma for developers, enabling them to quickly integrate cloud storage while maintaining full control of their users and brand.
Since the platform launched in September 2014, more than 15,000 developers have signed up to leverage CloudFS, which includes a free prototyping account with 25GBs of storage and 10,000 API calls a month.
