Aveksa, Inc., the provider of the industry’s most comprehensive Business-Driven Identity and Access Management platform, today announced that it has expanded the deployment of its cloud-based Identity and Access Management solutions by partnering with GuidePoint Security, a leading provider of customized information security services specializing in cloud, mobile and application security.

“Aveksa’s cloud-based IAM solutions provide these enterprises with the ability to not only manage applications in the cloud, but also manage the IAM process using its SaaS offering. By doing so, these companies will have more secure and efficient cloud initiatives.” Aveksa recently announced a number of cloud-related IAM offerings, including MyAccessLive, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Identity and Access Management solution. MyAccessLive provides integrated visibility and control of both cloud and on-premise applications in a single cloud-based solution. With built-in Single Sign-On capabilities, MyAccessLive helps companies ensure that user access to all applications is easy, appropriate and properly managed…

These cloud offerings build on Aveksa’s business-driven approach to Identity and Access Management, used by numerous enterprise customers to manage, control and certify access to data and applications, both inside the firewall as well as in cloud environments. Unlike competing approaches, Aveksa’s solution unifies the management of identities and access across internal and external environments, without compromising visibility and control.

As part of this new partnership, GuidePoint Security will resell both Aveksa’s cloud-based and on-premise IAM solutions to its base of global customers. In addition, GuidePoint will provide valued-added services to ensure that customers get their IAM projects up and running quickly and that they receive the greatest value from those implementations.

“An ever-increasing number of organizations and government agencies are migrating their IT assets and infrastructure to the cloud. With this push comes both a great opportunity to integrate security into new and existing applications, but also great responsibility to ensure security safeguards are implemented,” said Justin Morehouse, Founder and Principal of GuidePoint Security. “Aveksa’s cloud-based IAM solutions provide these enterprises with the ability to not only manage applications in the cloud, but also manage the IAM process using its SaaS offering. By doing so, these companies will have more secure and efficient cloud initiatives.”

“Enterprises that move applications and IT processes to cloud environments need to ensure that access to those environments is governed in the most secure manner possible,” said Andy Byron, Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Aveksa. “Our partnership with GuidePoint Security enables us to significantly expand our reach to companies that are in need of Identity and Access Management solutions in cloud environments.”
