Turbonomic Leads Customers Through Their AWS Journey with an AI-Powered Decision Engine

Turbonomic is demonstrating how customers are accelerating their Amazon Web Services (AWS) migrations and optimizing their estates through workloads that self-manage, anywhere, in real-time at AWS re:Invent, from November 26-30 in Las Vegas, NV (booth #413).

Organizations are rushing to the cloud for agility and cost savings to speed innovation. However, realizing full elasticity while adapting to dynamic application demand is a real-time challenge that is beyond human scale – with mistakes being costly. Additionally, a growing skills gap is hampering many organizations’ journeys, in large part due to the tradeoff of speed of application delivery over operational excellence.

Turbonomic enables AWS customers to automatically optimize and govern their AWS workloads while maintaining the speed, agility, elasticity, resiliency and cost benefit that AWS’s offerings provide. Through an AI-powered decision engine, Turbonomic takes action to continuously configure AWS compute and storage resources. Additionally, it optimizes the very complex process of Reserved Instance coverage and utilization to help customers deliver the best performance at the lowest cost.

“The options available in AWS provide an unprecedented level of agility. Truly capitalizing on this agility requires continuous resource calibration to match supply with demand. Turbonomic’s AI-powered decision engine takes the guesswork out of migration and optimization,” said Tom Murphy, Chief Marketing Officer at Turbonomic.

Turbonomic’s technical proficiency and proven customer success has earned Turbonomic status as one of two solution partners who have been awarded the AWS Cloud Management Tools Competency and AWS Cloud Migration Competency.

During re:Invent, Turbonomic Cloud CTO, Mor Cohen-Tal, and Director of Technical Marketing, Eric Wright, will share how customers are achieving their AWS goals using Turbonomic. This includes a Fortune 100 oil and gas company that optimized monthly spend by more than 75 percent while managing more than 6,000 workloads on-premises and in AWS.
