OnRamp Access, LLC, a HITRUST-certified cloud infrastructure provider, is pleased to announce the release of OnRamp’s Cloud Innovation Program with the goal of helping startups innovate, scale and thrive. Eligible startups receive six months of free resources on OnRamp’s HITRUST-certified virtual private cloud (VPC) built on OpenStack technology and access to OnRamp’s rich set of resources, including security and compliance expertise, an extended community of partners, and marketing opportunities.

The program is open to all startups, but is best suited for software startups developing a SaaS-based product or service that’s subject to security and compliance mandates, such as HIPAA and PCI.

“Our intent is to empower startups with secure, certified infrastructure so they can focus on what they do best: code, test, build, scale and bring new ideas to market. Austin and Raleigh both have a tight-knit community of entrepreneurs who support one another. With this spirit in mind, we developed a program that gives back to the community,” says CEO Lucas Braun.

Cloud Innovation Program participants build on OnRamp’s VPC, which features the ease of use of a public cloud with self-service provisioning, automation using APIs, full storage volume encryption to meet compliance and security needs, and more. Startups will receive priority access to early releases and discounts on services once the program ends and it’s time to scale.

Beyond the technology stack, startups can leverage OnRamp’s extensive network of partners and internal team of experts—from cloud support to security and compliance. Just like OnRamp’s customers, program members are the first to know about product releases and sponsored local events, as well as co-marketing opportunities for added exposure.
