Reinforcing continued innovation and understanding of government compliance requirements, Trend Micro Incorporated, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, announced the availability of Deep Security in the recently launched Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud Marketplace. As an AWS Advanced Technology Partner for more than eight years, Trend Micro enables customers with the tools needed to secure highly compliant workloads in the cloud, while increasing operational efficiency and helping customers to maximize the benefits of moving to the cloud all while remaining compliant.

Trend Micro is a chosen cyber security partner for many government agencies. NASA worked with MindPoint Group to solve business challenges for the NASA WESTPrime project. "While working on the NASA WESTPrime project, it’s been truly evident that Trend Micro’s Deep Security on AWS GovCloud Marketplace is a game changer for government AWS users," said Keith Rhea, Senior Security Engineer for MindPoint Group, LLC. "The product is certified and credible, reinforcing Trend Micro’s understanding of government compliance and ensuring protection across all cloud environments. Additionally, this innovative solution offers multiple capabilities in a single product, minimizing our operational costs for security tools."

According to IDC research, Trend Micro has been named the leader in the IDC Corporate Server Security segment for the last seven years. Additionally, in the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms, Trend Micro was positioned highest and furthest to the right among leaders, for its ability to execute and completeness of vision.

Trend Micro’s Deep Security, powered by XGen, provides comprehensive cloud protection from a single agent that scales seamlessly and helps government organizations maintain continuous compliance. Additionally, Deep Security integrates effortlessly into the development process with friction-less set-up and procurement tied into one workflow utilizing Trend Micro’s Quick Start. Developed to reduce complexity in deploying AWS workloads with specific compliance requirements, the Quick Start template enables customers to adhere to federal compliances that stem from frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, DFARS and many others.

"Our investment in the AWS Marketplace starts with our customers," said Adam Boyle, director of product management, Trend Micro. "Trend Micro customers who use the AWS GovCloud can now seamlessly protect their highly compliant workloads with a single security tool available directly through the AWS GovCloud Marketplace, giving the enterprise a way to move to the cloud without the friction that procurement can create."
