Opus Interactive, a leading provider of custom cloud hosting services, announces today it is offering the lowest latency, direct access to hyperscale public cloud providers available in the Portland market, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, via its Lit Network Services.  Opus’ Lit Network Services provide a fully redundant and multi-provider ring that connects several Greater Portland area facilities, including Infomart Data Centers, EdgeConneX, the Pittock Block and Tata Communications’ BB1.

Opus Interactive’s flagship facility is located in Infomart Data Centers in Hillsboro and its Portland data center is located in Tata Communications’ BB1 facility.  As the retail cloud and colocation provider for Infomart Data Centers’ Hillsboro location, Opus Interactive offers the facility’s wholesale tenants as well as Opus and EdgeConneX customers low latency, direct access to hyperscale public cloud providers as well as backhaul to all available providers located within the Pittock Block.  Gartner predicts that the global public cloud services market will grow 18 percent in 2017 to approximately $247 billion, up from $209 billion last year, indicating that the availability of fast, secure and seamless connectivity to public cloud services will become increasingly essential for companies to remain competitive.

"As more and more businesses rely on public hyperscale cloud providers, the availability of near four millisecond, low latency connectivity options with multi-path redundancy and core protection is critical to our customers and partners," comments Eric Hulbert, CEO of Opus Interactive.  "Moreover, the new set of lit network service offerings provides them with the flexibility of gaining access to any carrier in the Oregon market within three top-tier data center faculties."

Opus has lit this ring with capacity to provide network services from any of the four facilities in the Portland market, offering from 10 megabits to 200 gigabits per channel for its customers and partners.  The new set of lit network service offerings provides its customers with access to any carrier in the Oregon market from Infomart, EdgeConneX and Tata BB1, including  1Mbps, 100Mbps, 1Gbps, and 10Gbps up to 200Gbps transport options.

Opus’ multi-cloud, hybrid IT offerings allow customers to run their applications and infrastructure on any cloud and includes access to partners such as Megaport and PacketFabric, which provide connectivity to Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud, and more. Opus can also manage and monitor their customer environments across any cloud, such as AWS, through a single pane of glass.
