CWCS Managed Hosting is expanding its managed hosting services by securing space in a 22,000 square foot, premium Data Centre facility in North West London.

The site has been chosen not only for its convenient location within the M25 but for the security it offers, a top priority for CWCS, an ISO 27001 certified hosting provider.

The site is surrounded by high security fencing and a comprehensive network of CCTV systems and has security guards onsite 24/7. There are a number of other high-tech systems including a facial recognition biometric system.

Managing Director, Karl Mendez said, “London has always been in our expansion plan due to its fantastic connectivity and being a great hub for technology but as an ISO 27001 certified hosting provider, security was a big factor in finding a partner. Security is essential to our clients so it was absolutely critical that any data centre meets our stringent security requirements.”

The London Data Centre is also equipped with multiple power fail over systems, dual-power feeds, two UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems and a large capacity diesel generator. This ensures that clients’ websites remain online in the event of localised power cuts.

The London Data Centre uses the very best in cooling and direct heat channelling technology, delivering cold air flow with maximum efficiency.

“We are extremely happy to announce that we have expanded our Data Centre offerings to the Capital. We can offer up to 10GB/s network with 1GB/s uplinks,” continued Mendez.

Some CWCS customers were lining up to be in the facility and are already benefiting from the 10GB/s network on offer in CWCS’s London Data Centre.

The Data Centre is the next stage in CWCS Managed Hosting’s global expansion, with their two privately owned data centres in Nottingham, UK and further facilities available through its sister company, Supreme Servers in Miami, Dallas and Toronto.
