Univa Joins CNCF Cloud Native Computing Foundation

Today Univa joins Google, IBM, and other world-class companies founding members of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). The new CNCF organization will accelerate the development of cloud native applications and services by advancing a technology stack for data center containerization and microservices.

"Univa is excited to participate as a founding member of the CNCF,” said Gary Tyreman, CEO of Univa Corporation. “Enterprises want to capture the power and benefits of containerization and we’re proud to be among the industry pioneers who are stepping up to the challenge. We look forward to sharing our expertise in optimizing diverse data center workloads gained from our experience with hundreds of different enterprise environments.”…

Univa has also formally joined the Google Cloud Platform Partner Program as an Authorized Technology Partner with its recent integration between the Univa solutions suite and Google Cloud Platform. According to the company, membership in the new foundation as well as in the Google Cloud Platform Partner Program are the latest pillars of Univa’s continued expansion into containerization and microservices…
