Eucalyptus Systems, creator of the most widely deployed on-premise cloud computing platform, today launched the Eucalyptus Authorized Education Partner (EAEP) and Authorized Consulting Partner (EACP) Programs. The EAEP Program enables Eucalyptus partners to deliver Eucalyptus authorized training courses using Eucalyptus Certified Instructors (ECI), while the EACP Program recognizes Eucalyptus partners who have developed a high level of competency in designing and implementing Eucalyptus cloud solutions.

"These new programs enable our partners to provide value-added consulting and training services for Eucalyptus," said Andy Knosp, vice president of professional services at Eucalyptus Systems. "Customers are rapidly embracing Eucalyptus’ open approach to cloud computing as demonstrated by our enablement of 25,000 cloud starts annually. Eucalyptus partners can leverage these new partner programs to expand their portfolio of offerings and drive incremental revenue opportunities."…

"Our work with Eucalyptus architecting and configuring cloud solutions gives customers a clear path for successfully deploying on-premise IaaS and private clouds in preparation for later migrating to a secure hybrid or public cloud. Our adoption of Eucalyptus’ leading private cloud technology, which mirrors the APIs used in Amazon Web Services, gives our customers a seamless path for migration to Amazon’s FISMA and HIPAA compliant GovCloud. Certification as a Eucalyptus Authorized Consulting Partner validates our expertise in implementing a full-lifecycle of private and public cloud solutions," said Dr. Tom Woteki, Chief Architect and Sr. Vice President, Strategy and Solutions at Acentia.

"As a services and integration company, we continuously strive for the ability to deliver best-of-breed solutions to our customers. By partnering with Eucalyptus, Cloud2Spec has more tools at our disposal to deliver what customers require to achieve their cloud computing goals. The Eucalyptus Authorized Consulting Partner program enhances that ability by ensuring that we will be able to maintain a level of competency and expertise delivering on-premise IaaS clouds utilizing the Eucalyptus software," said Dan Anderson, CEO at Cloud2Spec.

"Recognition as a Eucalyptus Authorized Consulting Partner allows us to demonstrate competency and expertise in implementing Eucalyptus on-premise IaaS clouds and provide a comprehensive suite of consulting services and solutions to our customers," said Vaibhav Tewari, Vice President & Business Head, Cloud Services at Microland.
