Alianza Inc., the cloud voice platform company, announced today that three fiber broadband Internet service providers (ISPs) have selected Alianza's Cloud Voice Platform to power new VoIP phone services for their customers.

The providers-a cable company and two rural electric cooperatives-are delivering fiber-based broadband for the residential and business customers in their communities, and had not previously offered phone service. They each recognized the importance of cloud communications in delivering a great customer experience, increasing win rates and generating additional revenue. Research from Leichtman Research Group shows that 64 percent of broadband households subscribe to a bundle of services. According to the Federal Communications Commission, U.S. VoIP subscriptions have grown 32 percent since 2013.
