Elastifile Unveils Managed Service to Deliver Scalable File Storage for Google Cloud Platform

Elastifile, the pioneer of enterprise-grade, scalable file storage for the public cloud, today announced the introduction of a fully-managed, scalable file storage service for Google Cloud Platform. Leveraging tight integration with Google Cloud infrastructure, Elastifile Cloud File Service makes it easy to deploy, manage, and scale enterprise file storage in the public cloud. Customers can sign up for early access to the new service at https://www.elastifile.com/early-access-gcp.

With an increasing number of organizations seeking to leverage public cloud resources, scalable, cost-effective file storage has emerged as a critical enabler for ubiquitous cloud adoption. To address this emerging need, Elastifile partnered with Google Cloud to deliver a fully-managed, cloud-native file service, complete with a full suite of enterprise NAS features. This new service leverages deep integration with Google Cloud infrastructure and makes file storage on GCP both user-friendly and affordable, thereby eliminating the gap between enterprise storage requirements and cloud capabilities. Leveraging the new file service from Elastifile, Google Cloud users can, for the first time, manage scalable, software-defined NAS infrastructure as easily as they manage other Google-native services...with none of the complexity and cost associated with do-it-yourself storage implementations...and without the scalability and availability limitations of legacy, hardware-dependent storage architectures.

Elastifile Enables Automated Kubernetes Storage Provisioning via Elastifile Storage Provisioner on Google Cloud Platform

Grazed from Elastifile

Elastifile, a pioneer of enterprise-grade, scalable file storage for the public cloud, today announced it is introducing a commercial Kubernetes application to all users of the Google Cloud Platform Marketplace (GCP Marketplace). The new offering will provide customers with automated provisioning of shared file storage, thus enabling the containerization of stateful workflows, with no application refactoring required. For the first time ever, commercial Kubernetes applications are available to deploy with one click to Google Kubernetes Engine with a usage-based pricing model. Commercial Kubernetes applications can be deployed on-premise or even on other public clouds through the GCP Marketplace.

GCP Marketplace is based on a multi-cloud and hybrid-first philosophy, focused on giving Google Cloud partners and enterprise customers flexibility without lock-in. It also helps customers innovate by easily adopting new technologies from ISV partners, such as commercial Kubernetes applications, and allows companies to oversee the full lifecycle of a solution, from discovery through management.
